PAULINA MIDDLE EASTERN DANCER & INSTRUCTOR

It is apparent in her performance that Paulina moves from the heart. Paulina has been drawn to music and dance all her life and has participated in formal dance training since she was 6 years old. Over the last 15 years she's studied numerous styles of bellydance: anywhere from Egyptian and Tribal to Traditional Dances from all over the Middle East. Paulina spent two years at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) studying and performing with the Middle Eastern Ensemble. It was at UCSB she developed her love for the ancient art of belly dance. Paulina has participated and performed in many workshops and events locally and around the world, and continues to study the dance. In 1997 she began teaching her own classes. Her unique style is a fusion of Raks Sharqui and classic Oriental Dance.

Paulina welcomes all levels of students to participate in her classes. Classes are currently running in Ojai and in Ventura, California - see classes for locations and times. With her patience and passion for teaching, you too can experience the magic of belly dancing!

See Paulina perform at The Greek At The Harbor restaurant in the Ventura Harbor every Saturday night!

Paulina has multiple instructional & performance DVDs available - see the VIDEOS section for more information. Paulina is also the host of an exciting new project called Belly Dance Television (BD-TV).
